Hyperpigmentation Correction

Smooth skin tone without any Hyperpigmentation!

Our skin color is determined primarily by the melanin concentration which is influenced by genetic and environmental factors. However, there are many types of pigmentary disorders, which may be inherited or acquired (infection, side effects of disease, etc.), influencing our skin tone and appearance. Some disorders affect just patches of the skin, while others affect the entire body, with different “diffusion” within the skin, in lateral direction and depth. Moreover, the pigmentary disorders may appear due to an increase in the concentration of Melanocytes and some in the Melanin production itself.

Brighten-up your skin and shine!

Featuring a variety of solutions for hyperpigmentation, Viora’s Technologies dramatically reduce hyperpigmentation lesions, making the skin tone even and bright. in the treatment, the high concentration of melanin in the pigmented lesion is affected by energy, leading to local coagulation and consequential removal of the effected skin cells. It also reduces the formation of new pigmented spots and appearance of excising by balancing the synthesis of melanin and melanocytes activity (Tyrosinase’s inhibition).

FAQs:

Men and women suffer from these conditions and can benefit from their treatment to reduce redness, prominent dilated blood vessels and worsening. The Viora IPL is quick and effective with contact cooling before, during, and after each pulse to provide the most comfortable experience possible.

Q&A

  • I’ve suffered from the redness of rosacea for years. Will IPL Vascular Lesion treatment reduce it?
    • This treatment can treat and reduce the redness associated with rosacea. Rosacea is a chronic condition. The dilated capillaries will continue to occur, therefore once the redness is treated, it is best to schedule maintenance treatments to keep it under control.
  • How many IPL treatments will I need?
    • This is variable and can depend on what is being treated, how large the vessels being treated are to start, etc. Generally speaking, treating redness of rosacea or other vascular lesions may take 4-8 treatments
  • Why do I need maintenance sessions for IPL Vascular Lesion treatment?
    • Depending on what is being treated, you may or may not require maintenance sessions. If you have a chronic condition that forms vascular lesions and redness, then you absolutely should schedule maintenance sessions to keep your redness or vascular lesions controlled. However, if you had just a couple of enlarged dilated capillaries treated and haven’t seen others form, then you can just wait and see if any others develop. If you have one develop in a couple of years, then you can come in and have it treated.
  • How often are IPL treatments performed?
    • Treatments are performed 3-6 weeks apart.
  • What will IPL Vascular Lesion treatments feel like?
    • The treatment applicator uses a contact cooling system, therefore you will feel a cooling before, during, and after each pulse. The pulse feels like a snap, but is very tolerable.
  • What will my skin look like after IPL treatment?
    • Your skin may appear pink. The areas with blood vessels or redness involved can become darker and bright red or purple over the next 24 hours.
  • What should I avoid after IPL treatment?
    • Avoid any sun exposure or tanning of any kind for at least 14 days. Broad spectrum sunscreen is required for a minimum of 30 days with SPF 30+. We recommend using a mineral-based formula and clothing protection. Additionally, aerobic exercise, heat, hot baths, rough sports, massage of the area should be avoided for at least 5 days.
