How many IPL treatments will I need?
- This is variable and can depend on what is being treated, how large the vessels being treated are to start, etc. Generally speaking, treating redness of rosacea or other vascular lesions may take 4-8 treatments
Why do I need maintenance sessions for IPL Vascular Lesion treatment?
- Depending on what is being treated, you may or may not require maintenance sessions. If you have a chronic condition that forms vascular lesions and redness, then you absolutely should schedule maintenance sessions to keep your redness or vascular lesions controlled. However, if you had just a couple of enlarged dilated capillaries treated and haven’t seen others form, then you can just wait and see if any others develop.
